OK Brian, you've had your 15 minutes of fame.

Perhaps we should let FR24 respond to Simon's not unreasonable request.

Please don't attack another FR24 user.

I didn't do anything to you to get that abuse from you.

When I go on vacation, which I do several times a year, I shut down my home PC.

Almost as soon as I stop feeding FR24, my account drops from "Business" to "Gold" - after 7 days, it drops to nothing.

Oddly enough, when I'm away from home (and not feeding FR24), that's when I'm at a distant airport and really need FR24 coverage.

Please give your supporters a break and allow them to go on vacation for a couple of weeks without penalising them.

    Thanks

    Simon,

When you are going on vacation, just inform support and your subscription will manually be extended till you are back.

    Khan,
    Thanks for answering his question.
Great info that should be added to the FAQ share your data page.

    Brian,

That's a pretty good suggestion. Thanks! Let me look into it.

I go abroad for maybe 3 months at a time, but I leave my RPi running. I set up a cron command to reboot every half past midnight in case of glitches while I am away. Result 95% coverage and constant Business membership and I can watch traffic in the Philippines and Far East alll the time. Simples!
