  • "Connection Terminated" on new FR24 Hardware

Hello everyone, I am a new user with the FR24 supplied hardware. Hooked it up, receiving the flashing red Mode S, and GPS signal. Plugged into a modem with CAT5 cable, which my PC is also connected to.

I've ran the fr24feed.exe as the DVB-T feed, but I keep getting:

    2017-03-20 20:48:58 | [reader][i]Connecting to Generic receiver via (exe://mr-dump1090.exe --raw)
    2017-03-20 20:48:58 | [reader][i]Connected to the receiver, configuring
    2017-03-20 20:48:58 | [reader][i]Configured, processing messages
    2017-03-20 20:48:58 | [reader][i]Connection terminated

    over and over.

I am not exactly sure what dump1090 is. My feeder status is as follows:

    FR24 Link: Connected via UDP
    FR24 Radar Code: T-KVLD3
    Aircraft Tracked (ModeS & ADS-B): 0
    Aircraft Uploaded: N/A
    Receiver: dvbt, Connected
    MLAT running: N/A

I believe I may have a port blocking issue, or the software may be looking for dump1090. I'm stuck at this point and don't know where to go from here.

If it is a all in 1 box, and not a DVBT based unit - you do NOT run FR24feed software on a PC. It is done internally in the box without intervention.

Per the guide attached to it you should contact them by email for remote monitoring if your account status page shows offline.

FR24 receivers are plug and play, you don't need to install FR24feed software on your computer as Oblivian said.
