  • How to tell if RPi is feeding data

    Hi,

I have recently (in the last few hours) set up a raspberry pi to feed data to FR24. It seems to be detecting planes and it says it is connected when looking at 192.168.1.76:8754 Screenshot_3.png.

However I have had no more contact from FR24 to say they are receiving data and I don't know where on their website I can see my data / claim premium. Please could you tell me how to do that?

    Thanks

On the FR24 main page, go to upper right hand corner-

Click on "logged in"> "account"> "show statistics"

There doesn't seem to be a show statistics button on the account page

It is a link, not a button.
Please see top right of screenshot below.

Thank you for your help. That link wasn't there at the time but since my first post it has appeared.

So what's happening here today? Status = online, but no data. See screenshot.
Data to / from e.g. Flightaware / dump1090 is working OK.
Is there a possible issue at FR24 since last night?

                Maybe an antenna issue.

Not an antenna issue, because flight-data was send to Flightaware & Planefinder. So it was FR24-related only and lasted for 24 hrs:

When I check the accounts page for show statistics it does not always appear, does that mean I`m not sending data or is there an other reason please?

Have you tried http://<host IP>:8754 and http://<Host IP>:8754/monitor.txt ? That should give you an idea of your settings and what your receiver is outputting.

                          For me it's http://192.168.0.3:8754/ and http://192.168.0.3:8754/monitor.txt

In RPI, I use 'sudo fr24feed status' (without the ' ') to check the running status of the feed.

I'm not aware of any way that FR themselves will comment on any data that we are feeding, unless there is an issue.

                              I found my data by doing this;
on the top bar select add coverage
                              share statistics
                              type in user name
                              click on radar
                              hope this helps others.
                              Dave.
