    Anyone configured a dongle as a spectrum analyser?

    any suggestion?

    Want to find out what signals are swamping out my front end, and study the effect of filters.

    Yes, I have! It's quite a nice way to spend an evening

    I'm running Linux Ubuntu so my only good option was to use Gqrx. For windows there is allot more software out there. Just google "RTL-SDR software", followed by your operating system.
