@bruton:
This looks great. You have crossed the 9th (outermost) ring at many places. What is the gap between rings/ how far is the outermost ring from receiver?
I have set 6 rings 50 Nautical Miles apart, so my outermost ring is 300 Nautical Miles from receiver.
(300 Nautical Miles = 345 Miles = 555 Kilometre**)
**In UK English, Canadian English, and French, the spelling is "kilometre". In US English, German, Swedish & Dutch, the spelling is "kilometer".

@bruton:
Your outermost ring is 9 x 20 = 180 nm. Your max range is somewhat beyond outer ring, so it can be safely taken as 200 nm = 230 miles = 370 km. Very good for an antenna in loft.
You will see considerable improvement when you take your antenna outdoor on your roof or a mast.
Adding an amplifier will greatly enhance range & number of planes, both for antenna in loft and antenna on roof.Last edited by abcd567; 2016-04-04, 19:50.

(2) Connection to the inserter in picture in my above post has to be done this way:
HF goes to DVB-T
HF+DC goes to Amplifier's "OUT" or "TV" terminal
IN goes to ac/dc adapter's dc terminals.
(3) Connection at Amplifier have to be done this way:
Amplifier's "IN" or "ANT" terminal goes to Antenna
Amplifier's "OUT" or "TV" terminal goes to DC inserter.Last edited by abcd567; 2016-04-05, 23:39.
