  • Fast speaking pilots!

    WHY are all pilot talk on the radio so fast?? The work load in the cabin is not so heavy!
    The rate thay are talking must be some thousand words / minute.
    Or is it just the way of being cool???

    At busy airports you don't want to be blocking the frequency by taking too long over things, controllers and pilots quickly
    get used to it as not only do you become accustomed to the radio you get used to and expect what will be coming next.
    About 30 years back I used to fly with a mate in light aircraft and at first struggled to understand the radio even sat on the
    ground but soon got used to it and was able to understand even when flying in aircraft with truly awful radios.

      Hi All,

      Does anybody have a website where I can get Frequencys for the ATC.,
      here in NRW Germany.
      And what Frequencys do I require., as I see there are Tower (Arr. - Dep.)
      and also Radar.

      I have a Bearcat UBC278CLT and a UBC180XLT, which are set on different
      freqs..., But which.., I havnt the fog-est.., (including Maastricht Radar)
      (F-EDLE1)delcomp-DEL-David Tks(My friend Mike, all three of them)

          That will be very useful., as there is 4 from 6 of my surrounding (Int.)airport in there.

          My local airFIELD, is Marl Loemuhle EDLM Freq. is 122.00 for anyone interested.
          biggest aircraft that it has taken is a Learjet
          (F-EDLE1)delcomp-DEL-David Tks(My friend Mike, all three of them)
