Just wish to present my first experience with ADS-B receiving. I bought DVB-T stick and after connectig it and running downloaded softwares as described in FR24, i can say i'm surprised with results. This dongle is offered on Ebay at $ 10 range price from China, and it seems it works great. I placed my laptop with dongle and unmodified supplied antenna on the table located at my backyard terrace; less than 2 meters height from the ground and pretty surrounded with houses. I got 100 - 150 km receiving range, not equally in all directions, of course due the obstacles. I also installed Planeplotter so i can see the positions. Now thinking about antenna solutions...
