hi, i dug my raspberry pi 3 out of the cupboard and started feeding again, i bought a new usb dvt-t dongle which looks exactly the same as the old one but it wont pick up any planes, as soon as i put the old dongle back in it picks up planes, any ideas?

I tried a second dongle and same thing, shows dvb-t connected but no planes, plug the original back in and I get full coverage. -
Check your settings. Make sure they are correct. You can post your settings here (make sure to remove your sharing key from it before posting). Use this command:

just something I discovered when changing from ethernet cable to an ethernet o wifi bridge. you have to have the power to the bridge on (usb in another source than the pi) before starting up the raspberry pi for dump1090 to work properly. hope this helps someone.Comment
