The Perfect Raspberry Pi4B Setup ?

    HI,

I have the following hardware and I want to confirm what the best setup for it would be, in terms of software installed & configuration (optional gain?)
Can I also use the following ?
Graphs: https://github.com/wiedehopf/graphs1090#graphs1090 - great to keep a track on whats happening...
Tar1090: https://github.com/wiedehopf/tar1090 - great for seeing max rang plot

    Any recommendations would be great.

R24 Feeder Settings - Help here to confirm would be great:

    Sharing key: OK
Receiver: Which type do you select ? DVBT Stick (default) or ModeS Beast (TCP) etc...
    Host/IP: ? 127.0.0.1:30005 ?
    COM/DEV/PATH: ?
Process arguments: "--gain -10 --net" seems to be the default ?
    Baudrate: ?
    RAW data (30002/30334): ?
    SBS Feed (10001): ?
    Decoded data (30003): ?
    MLAT: ?

    Thanks !

    I'd recommend https://adsb.im/ or https://github.com/wiedehopf/adsb-wi...ADS-B-receiver

    But i'm biased of course

If you're gonna go for an expensive DPD antenna, might consider an airspy mini + uputronics 1090 filtered LNA if you want to go all out.
Needs a different decoder, but it's not complicated if you use the setup described in my wiki.
And it's just a couple of clicks in the webinterface when using adsb.im.

Still interested in finding out what people think is the best hardware setup for a raspberry Pi 4 or 5, i not the Pi5 can use USBc for power, the

Questions, Install the Pi close to antenna, and power it via PoE or USB ?

      So far looks like:
      1. SBC: Raspberry Pi 4B
      2. Power Source: tbc
      3. SDR: AirSpy
      4. Filter: uputronics 1090 filtered LNA
      5. DPD ADS-B Vertical Outdoor Base Antenna (Standard 1090 MHz ES)
      6. Cable:
