Loss of signal strength

I have lost the signal strength to my receiver. I assume its either due to cable issue or Antenna. How should pin point the issue? I have another antenna with fixed cable which seems to work fine on the same receiver.

I had a connector go bad, verified with an ohmmeter. It was a cheap antenna and cable which was all replaced and nearly tripled my results.

Yes the connector at the antenna base was the problem. Some how it became loose or there was corrosion. I cleaned it and it fixed the issue.
