emergency feed

Hi,

I am new to this community and a relatively new user of the iOS app. I wonder if there is a web feed (rss/atom/...) with emergency alerts and data like lat/lon location. I think it would be interesting to search for tweets within the area of the emergency. Any ideas, critic or feedback on that? Maybe someone already has done this or attempted to?

For now it's just an idea I want to play with. A lot of tweets are geo-tagged. So maybe people near a location with an emergency alert might tweet about it if they see something.

I don't know if it is useful/interesting/... but I guess a working prototype would take me no more than half a day to set up (if there is a machine readable flightradar emergency feed with location data).
