    Cardiff is BA's engineering base, so not an uncommon flight. Although I don't monitor too much of the UK I'd guess all sorts of large aircraft of BA's fleet make their way to Cardiff at some point for maintenance.

    Just noticed a Boeing 747 going into Heathrow, from Cardiff.

    Seems a big plane for such a 'normal' route
