to get around this?
Or a better way ... in windows network config, setting a fixed ip address and fixed non-uzbek dns servers as documented in
A free, global DNS resolution service that you can use as an alternative to your current DNS provider.
(it says there
To try it out:
Configure your network settings to use the IP addresses 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as your DNS servers)

Any chance to have some kind of "encrypted mode" on Chrome?
I also reside in Uzbekistan, Android FR24 is working just fine through the same ISP, but no picture on usual PC. As it was mentioned before, is there any possibility to change .....maps.com to ...maps.ru? Because our gov-t allows using russian based maps.
Or please explain what is "encrypted mode" on opera and how to make it work?Last edited by Jhenya; 2014-01-22, 07:49.

Hi,
I think the issue with using a proxy is that the DNS lookup is still done on some Uzbekistan server.
Maybe completely tunneling all your traffic (including DNS) through a VPN like http://www.securitykiss.com/ would help.
