I'm not 100% sure how this works, but I beleive ATC relies on the transpondercode they issue and that their screen get data from the flightplan and the ATC database - not from the ADS transponder. So they don't see the data we see and vice versa.

    Hi
Tank You LN-MOV for helping us understanding the sometimes funny things appearing.
So you could say the BA-pilot on G-EUYA made a mistake by entering his Reg nr instead of Route or Callsign
or he could be on other mission . We have seen it before !! Why does not ATC tell pilots that there ID is wrong ??
    Best Regards

    Also GA-aircraft sometimes transmit ADS-B ... this os PH-KDN
    http://www.airliners.net/photo/Noord...awk/1483753/M/

Callsigns are entered manually into the transponder - sometimes you will see them enter reg instead of callsign .. sometimes they forget all together and you will see funny lines all over the map.

German Air Force operates a couple of ex-Interflug A310's. You see them all over Europe and elsewhere when German troops need to be moved.

AIB-flights are Airbus testflights. Aircraft operating out of Finkenwerder will typically carry a German 'dealer-tag' . or test registration, if you like. Those operating out of Tolouse will carry a ditto French reg.

I don't think you can fit any cars into either of those ... the Airbus is a CJ .. which is a A319 in a VIP-configuration.
