    only had flight radar for about 3 weeks but when looking yesterday i was amazed it picked up a helicopter in the north sea area heading for Norfolk is this normal .

    Yes, some of the helicopters working the gas/oil rigs transmit positional data.

          I was updated 2 helicopter in VietNam but I did not see it correct on FR24.

            wrong thread, you need to place it here;
            The airplane information shown on FR24 is not transmitted by the airplane. The information comes from a database - Lookup associated to the unique Hex/ModeS code that is transmitted by the airplane. Every day there are new deliveries and old aircraft getting new owners, so new information has to be modified daily. Help us in

            ... and it may take some time to see them on the map.
