  • Altitude corrections based on QNH?

Hi! I have noticed that when the airpressure (QNH) is very low, all aircrafts below TL are displayed much higher than their actual altitude. For example, the QNH in Oslo is now 975 wich makes the airplanes show around 1000 feet higher than "normal". From what I understand PlanePlotter calculates the correct altitude by looking at the QNH, but it seems like FR24 just displays the raw altitude received from the airplane, wich is based on standard air pressure (1013 hpa). Will this be improved?

    Best regards

Today we only show raw transponder data. There are no plans to make any changes to that on our to-do list today. But maybe in the future.
