  • Mystery FR24 browser problem: Planes and map keep black..!

Hi, anyone had this kind of problem?

Yesterday my Firefox browser opened with black window on Flightradar24 map and planes.

It has persisted keep dark through ccleaner and manual temporary internet files and cookie cleaning as well as browser and computer restarts.

Using my another browser IE does not help either, because it freezes with FR24. A screenshot:

    Any tips?

Don't use IE and clear the FR24 cookies in Firefox.

Try clearing the cache and close and relaunch the browser?

Tried it, too, without success. Neither computer restart did help.

            Try Chrome?

If that doesn't work, maybe it's your Internet connection or something else on your computer or browser settings.

I have noticed that you don't have any advertisments visible and the Facebook Icon does not appear to be showing, if you are using Adblocking Software Flightradar24 will not work.

Good point! It have set an exception and FR24 worked earlier with Adblock.

Now I entirely disabled Adblock. Still the problem persists...

But Facebook and other adds emerged!

Now you have done that, you need to clear your cookies and cache. (Make sure you save your passwords.)

Both cleaned again. Restarted. Still black FR24 window.

I also added to browser setup an exception for popups and pics for FR24. No effect either.

Disabling Noscript also had no effect.

Try Chrome, Safari and Opera. So we can eliminate the browser.

Hi Mike, I installed Chrome. FR24 indeed works with it - map and planes show up now fine!

So the problem is an issue with Firefox. Maybe it got a broken file with the last browser update or something like that?

                          Great.

                          Maybe remove and reinstall Firefox?

Do you have the latest version of FF? Mine is 17.0.1.
