  • Flightradar24 for mac

    Hi everyone,

I have bought flightradar24 for iOS and was very satisfied.

Then i bought the app for mac, and to my surprise, this paid for app is much less attractive than the free web page : it has no color difference on the trail for altitude, no cockpit view, low quality maps, few settings possibilities, etc.

Is that possible or am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks for your help.

The app for mac is not much to talk home about. I very rarely use it, and IF SO, it just
reminds me about the things you experience. Sad, so sad, because the webpage, IOS and
androidapp are of another world compare to the macversion.

First of all the webpage has banner/ads that you don't have in the Mac version. The web page also has a timeout that you don't have in apps. The Mac version also runs faster and smoother than web and supports several different views.

Regarding maps. All map providers have rules and technical limits how and when the map may be used. Google Maps is not available in windows or mac apps, and from ios 6 it's not available on iphone/ipad. That is nothing we can do about that.
