First, congrats. Flightradar24 is superb and a useful tool.
I have two extension ideas for both the web site and the app I would like to share. Maybe they're silly but who knows, you could find them interesting...
1. have a mode showing all routes stored in the database. That's for air routes discovery. I'd really love to see that appear on a map based on real flight routes. Just for fun.
2. map the world in tiles of 5kms by 5kms and based on the route data you aggregate, show the average altitude of flights above that tile. Would be super useful to have a visual map of noise pollution caused by aircrafts...
I am myself monitoring the flights above my area using flightradar24. Here, the flights are not allowed to be below 2000m. But they're often below that limit.
