In about 25 hours we will setup a new radar on Malta. That will be one of our own radars that will be running 24/7 in a very good location with amplifier.

I'm away on combined vacation and radar setup. I hope to announce the new official FR24 radar installation on Wednesday

I have also ordered 10 new SBS1-er from Kinetic, that will be installed in the next weeks/months, so FR24 will continue expanding coverage. If there are any users in France, Cyprus, Iceland or any other country without coverage, that are willing to host a "radar" please contact info@flight24.com

Today we have setup a new official FR24 radar on Teneriffe, close to TFN airport. The radar has increased the coverage in the area a bit, but the big mountains and Teide vulcano is significantly reducing the coverage of southern parts of Teneriffe and TFS airport. But in western direction coverage is very good and planes landing on La Palma are visible down to 1000 feet.

Big thanks to all people supporting FR24 and making their effort to improve the coverage around the world!
