I'm feeding to FR24 from the Western Isles (or though not much feeding today due to a hard drive change) but I don't feed to any other software or website. I wouldn't mind installing PlanePlotter but I already have enough software running 24/7 on my PC to power my weather website and PlanePlotter puts too much extra strain on the single core processor.
I am looking to build a new PC shortly, with a quad-core, so maybe when that's running I'll have the extra capacity.

Maybe FR24 is unique and, as Speedbird1960 says, has dedicated receivers to cover areas that others don't reach?

    Hi Peter.

I am guessing you mean the the aircraft shown north of the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland and North Sweden, its because we have more Radar feeds in those areas.
