  • Aircraft on ground not displaying

Can anyone explain to me why I have aircraft on the ground at my local airport moving around on the sbs and plane plotter screens but not on Fr 24?, I am 8 mls from the airport and can see most aircraft moving around the airport but it does not display this on Fr24 I am sharing my data.
    regards gordon, gwilliums, Egss1.

Perhaps check the datastream in a web browser http://ip.of.sbsoutput:30003 and see if they are included in the output. I vaguely remember their being an option to ignore ground data which may only be reflected on the output stream.

On my ADSBscope screen I see raw data with the flag of 'ground' in the actual decode, but it does also not output to my FR42 uploader either.

Gordon, are you sharing your data direct with FR24 or via MMS2?

I'd love to see if you can get this resolved. The only airport I've seen with ground traffic on fr is Paris CDG, and event then it's very hit and miss.

If you can get egss loaded I'll have a go at injecting into flight simulator.

Ah OK. It's just that the MMS2 data doesn't include ground traffic. Maybe the FR24 feed is the same as the same programmer was responsible for both feeds.

                    Hi Gordon.

                        Hi Gordon.

Just been watching aircraft on the ground at CDG in satellite mode, it's such a good signal that it looks like the Radar is located on the airport.

I have noticed positional data for Avro RJ85's is out by about 500ft, the aircraft show up in strange places.

Did you manage to get replay working.
