  • I lost the map

    Hi,

I have not been able to see the map since last night.
I can see the planes, flght numbers, weather overlay,
etc, but no map underneath. This is so for all
    zoom levels.

    Please advise

    Leo

          From Flightradar24.com:
          A word about browsers
This site relies heavily upon the use of javascript. Javascript is code that runs on the clientside (in your browser). Internet Explorer doesnt perform well with javascript, so we do not recommend using Internet Explorer.
For best performance we recommend you to download and use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

FR24 doesn't use Java, so it must be something else. Have you deleted your cookies?

As I said I am using Internet Explorer and everything was fine with the
map until yesterday. I could see both the planes and maps. No problems.
Since yesterday, the map has gone, I can only see planes no, their
numbers, weather overlay but no map. Funny enough, Google Earth
live has gone down for me as well, I could only see Google Earth maps
through the cache. Is FR24 connected to Google Earth as far as the
map and terrain is concerned ?

I do not remember if I deleted cookies yesterday. If this is the problem, what is the solution ?

The cookie and java reply was to user: ssagsan
Deleting cookies is not a problem, but using IE is a problem.
FR24 is not using Google Earth, but Google Maps.

I just received this link from a Turkish user.

I can see that Leo have a Turkish IP, so that is why.

I cannot believe that some google services IPs are banned in my country..!!! the same for translate.google.com ... I hope gmail lives...

Same problem here, either with Firefox or Opera.
I can see callsigns but no airplanes.
Is it related with new flash version?

Yes, Ubuntu, and I noticed this error either with Ubuntu 10.4 32 or Ubuntu 10.4 64.
