'site position and range rings' not visable on local map

    I'm a new feeder since 2 weeks.
My hardware is RasPi 3B+ with DVB-t stick and a DIY J-beam antenna.
I just discovered the <myIP>/dump1090/gmap.html that shows only planes around my DVB-t stick.
Wonderfull except I do not see "site position and range rings" as overlay while the planes are plotted.

It would be great to see the range rings and position on this local map,
I searched the forum but did not find the answer/solution

I hope someone can help me ?

    fr24feed-status tells me:
    FR24 Feeder/Decoder Process: running.
    FR24 Stats Timestamp:2025-06-07 18:34:54
    FR24 Link: connected [UDP].
    FR24 Radar: T-EHW0152
    FR24 Tracked AC: 36.
    Receiver: connected (24460 MSGS/0 SYNC).
    FR24 MLAT: not running . . . failed!

MLAT . . . failed while I activated it in <myIP>:8754/settings.html , I do not know if this is related to "site position and range rings".

Hi there, I am using the FR24 image on a raspberry Pi. And I have struggled to get the range rings. I edited /etc/default/dump1090-mutability and entered my lat lon, and also edited the range ring values to 50, 100 and 150 NM. I also checked that range ring was true, and everything looked ok. Restared, but still no mark,

But for a more flavoured view, replace it with tar1090 and a diff decoder.

Provides an improved webinterface for use with ADS-B decoders readsb / dump1090-fa - wiedehopf/tar1090

He has done fix commands that will take care of it there.

Thank u for the interesting link. I will study it and probably try that out later.
Right now I hope to solve my issue with a 'simple' solution, if there is one.

Following your first link, I found some tips to edit a conf file which I did.
It did not fix the issue, but the default map center is now on my location but without any marks or rings

I found it, had to change one word from 'false' to 'true' in the /usr/share/dump1090-mutability/html/config.js file
        My problem is solved
