    Map does not load.

    Hello.

I did a lot of research but didn't find a solution.

I'm having problems viewing the map on the FR24, as these blue squares appear randomly everywhere and only disappear if I move the map.

Does anyone have a solution for this problem.

    Thanks.

I'm having the same problem on Chrome Version 117.0.5938.132 (Official Build) (64-bit).
      No problems on Edge.

      Thanks

Hello, are you using any browser extensions or add blockers that could be causing this? Please try to pause/delete all extensions and test this. It would also be useful to test this in another device with a freshly installed browser. If this continues, please write to support@fr24.com. Best, Toni

Not using any browser extensions that I wasn't using previously... I think it was when you updated the website to the new version that is does it. I have noticed that you can induce some form of it when in Hybrid Terrain mode, and moving the mouse from the map onto the bookmarks bar it disrupts the map view every time.
          regards

I'm having the same problem. It seems something with chrome has changed. I tried firefox and it worked fine. Youtube analytics is doing the same thing and I think it has to do with pages that auto update. Hoping for a fix as it's very annoying.

It's gotten worse for me this week on Chrome. The refresh rate has slowed. Sometimes it doesn't refresh at all. Attached.Capture.jpg

I haven't been paying close attention to my flightradar setup. I have it running on a Raspberry Pi 3+, rasbian, and its been working flawlessly since January 2022. This weekend I went to look at a plane flying nearby using the IP-of-PI/dumb1090/gmap.html and the map doesn't load. It just sits there with the spinny circle.

i've beaten my head against the wall all weekend trying to sort it out, but cannot figure out what's going wrong. The feed status shows i'm uploading data, and still receiving signals from the DVBT dongle. When I tried reloading/reinstalling fr24, i get weird error messages.

Can anybody tell me what's changed with FR24, dump1090, or the gmap.html that might be causing this? Its like the gmap.html page is looking for the map service, but cannot find it, so no map loads.

                    Thanks.

                      Hello,

same problem here, windows 10 with Chrome/Iron browsers. Until browser version 115 everthing works fine.

                      Firefox 119 also works fine.

I did no changes in my browser extensions

                      Thanks

I've also had this problem for the past few weeks in Chrome on Windows 10. Various sections of the map will randomly disappear leaving only the aircraft displayed. I cannot replicate this problem in either Firefox or MS Edge. I have alternately disabled all extensions, unchecked hardware acceleration, cleared cache and tried Incognito mode. None of these measures have worked to eliminate this problem.

                          Out of curiosity

On your computer, open Chrome. At the top right, click More. Settings.
                          On the left, click Performance.
Turn Memory Saver on or off.

Unselecting Memory Saver has no effect. Thanks anyway!

Memory Saver had no effect for me either.
