4 good news this evening!

1) The aircraft filter that has been requested by many fans is finally ready. Select "Settings" and enter "A388" or just "A38" as "Aircraft filter".

2) The speed and altitude filter are also updated with bigger values.

3) There is a search form in upper right corner.

4) You can link directly to a flight/callsign. Just add ?callsign in the url. http://www.flightradar24.com/?UAE38

There has been some questions on Facebook and our forum about our Windows app and the Pro version of Flightradar24. As you may have seen Google has announced that Google Maps, that we use in FR24, will become a paid service, for web pages that have more than 25.000 page views per day. As we have up to 20 times more visitors on Flightradar24 every day we are now looking on a solution so we can continue offer this great service for free. As soon as we have completed the negotiation with Google Maps and other map providers we hope to launch the new improved FR24 Pro service together with the Windows app.

As a complement to our Facebook page, we have also launched a Google+ page. We recommend all our users to join us on Google+ or Facebook, as most news and events are often posted on these services first.

We had some questions of Facebook so I want to clarify som questions: FR24 will remain FREE. Certain map types, extra features, and Windows app will be included in a Pro version. Price of Pro is not decided yet, it will be decided later. At the same time we will see if it's possible to keep Google Maps in the free version. All feeders will get Pro for free!

Have you seen an aircraft without route, or with wrong route? Now you can report correct information (flight numer / to / from / via) directly on Flightradar24!

Please note that callsign is transmitted by the aircraft/transponder. We cannot correct wrong callsigns.

Now you can see the view from cockpit window in flight!



Press "Aircraft view" button to open the Aircraft view window.
Please note that this is an early beta version that will be improved during the time.
You will also need to install the Google Earth plugin in your browser to make it work.
