On Saturday, June 26, 2021 at roughly 2045 UTC a powerful helicopter flew over Berkeley, California. I checked FR24 and saw that it was a Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion, flying west. It went a few miles to the Golden Gate Bridge, then turned around and flew over Berkeley again. I'd guess that it was a military training flight.
On FR 24, there was no photo and no N number, only a "Registration" number of 165245. Now in FR24 playback, the flight is entirely absent.
I understand that some flights are invisible on FR24, and I'd expect them to be totally invisible. This one showed up in real time and is absent in playback. Is there an explanation for this partial visibility?
