  • Plane colour in 3D view

Is there any technical reason why planes are depicted in dark grey colour in 3D view from the default 6-o'clock high position? I've always found this colour unnatural, even ugly . Personally I think it would look much nicer in white and also stand out better against the background. It would even be more natural since the majority of commercial aircraft are predominantly white.

We get the aircraft icons from an open-source project, contributions are welcome: https://github.com/Flightradar24/fr24-3d-models
Thank you for sharing the honest feedback!
