You really need to familiarize yourself with the FAQ and how ADSB receivers work

The world’s most popular flight tracker. Track planes in real-time on our flight tracker map and get up-to-date flight status & airport information.

I was following an aircraft when it suddenly disappeared, why?

In most cases, our receiver network is no longer receiving a signal from the aircraft. This tends to be more common when an aircraft is flying over large bodies of water. It can also be a technical problem somewhere. Once the aircraft flies over an area with coverage again, tracking will be resumed. Coverage in the same area can be different depending on data source and transponder type.
It is line of sight. No receiver close = no signal low.

For all other flights, it does report data from the engine start, even while taxing.

Irrelevant. Signal is only as good as the transmitter and receiver. You can't magically make a plane have better signal. nor can you make a receiver see more for specific planes.

There 1 antenna on top. 1 on the bottom. It switches automatically. If the bottom one is used receiver may see it even less.

You also cannot tell if there is 3 receivers. And only 1 sees ground but not going all the time. Or only 1 and receives 1 direction better.

It's all signa. No signal received/sent. No display on map. Only having more receivers can fix that.

How can we check whether all receivers in this area are working properly? I have experienced this since yesterday only.
