  • Windspeed/direction and temp at cruising alt.

I was wondering about windspeed/direction and temp. at cruising altitude:

Does this data come from the cockpit or does FR24 use a third party weather reporting service?

    Thanks

    Aircraft.

Temp is the same as what you see on the IFE when on-board. Direction is based on calculated data while moving comparing to direction and speed of aircraft if not sent freely
