Could it be as simple as it just doesn't understand overnight flights?

Yes, could be that! Right now we match on CET time/date, but we are working on a solution for global timing.

There are no BA39 flights in flightdiary database during 2011, so the persons onboard have missed to add their flights, or have added wrong data.

Returned on LH444 today and I did indeed see myself. However my ID was hidden behind an advertising banner ...

Love the service - was able to sit comfortably at 33000 feet and watch live football and Ski World Championship. A little unstable but not horribly so.

I just want to remind about http://flightdiary.net

Flightdiary.net helps you keep track of where you have been and how you got there by.
When you signup for an account you get a personal profile with a map and detailed statistics about your flights with graphs on CO2 emissions, top airports, airlines, etc.
When you add a flight, you can choose wether to post a message to your Facebook wall. If it is a future flight, we can even post your message automatically when you are in the air with a direct link to it on Flightradar24.com, so your friends can follow you live.
