Accessing Flight Data programatically

Is there an restful api that can be used to access data programatically ?? If so, can someone provide a pointer.
Does the service restrict how frequently one can ask for updates ?

This topic has already been discussed in the below thread and currently Flightradar24 don't provide any external public API's :-)
