PlanePlotter Version 5.4.8 has been released with an option to output data on Port 30003.

PlanePlotter now has a TCP/IP output option. The data is in the "industry standard" (:-)) 30003 format. This means that PGR and AVR users can run third party applications off the PP TCP/IP port (set to 30003) as if there was an SBS1 or RBv3 present.

The TCP/IP port can be set to other port numbers (to avoid conflict with 30003 if you have an SBS1 or ANRBv3) and then you can run one or more instances of PP looking at the primary instance's TCP port to display the data simultaneously in different presentations. To support this new feature, you can set the IP address (Options..Modes-S..Kinetic..IP) and the port number, using the format eg. 192.168.2.106:9750. With the primary instance configured to provide a server on, say port 9750, you can have a number of secondary instances working off that port as if they were running off the receiver.

So there's a greater chance that it might work with FR24 now?
That's what I'm lead to believe.

We need someone with a PlaneGadget to runs some tests.

Unfortunately I don't have one here.

All credit to Bev at COAA. I emailed RadarGadgets and he was onto it straight away.

                  Robin,
would recommend an External Omni direction Ae.,
So your going to need a longer USB cable.

And your going to need the PP Version. 5.4.8.,otherwise
you wont be able to send it to FR.

According to the hotline from plane gadgets.,
they subjest the org.Ae.and Ae cable..,,
But youve got to weatherproof it with Silicon..
There are Ae that you can buy.,but.! Expensive.!!!
As I said B4 your going to need a long USB cable.
Main thing is.! The higher you get the better the
                      range,.!

Regarding the PP upgrade., When youve paid for it
watch out that there reply, dosnt go in your Spam file.,
                      As it did by me

We've just sent the May Newsletter to all the Radarspotters' members and specifically mentioned PlaneGadget and the PanePlotter option to upload to Flightradar24.com.

Hopefully this will encourage more sharers.

You will have to ask Mike about that, bit too soon possibly.

I received my PlaneGadget radar today and my first impression is that there seems to be some kind of problem with reception. I didn't manage to track any flights on my office where sbs-1 and airnav can track planes without any problems. I will try more tomorrow.
