  • How do I monitor my new Flightradar receiver with Virtual Radar Server?

I'm sure I have seen the answer in the forum somewhere, but can't find it

I have just activated my new Flightradar supplied receiver, and all seems fine. I have already seen it credited on the web site (F-EKAH3).

Now I want to monitor the receiver with Virtual Flight Radar (VRS) just like I do with my Raspberry Pi (T-EKRD1).

They are both at the same remote location but I want to monitor them from home.
The Raspberry Pi is supplying data to VRS via port 30003 and has been working for months.

But I can't find documentation on how to access data from the Flightradar receiver.
Lots of others must have done this, and I'm sure I have seen the information somewhere. Please tell me.

first check the ip address of the fr24 receiver on your router
then go to virtual radar > Tools > Options -> Receivers add
ip u got above on your router and port is 30334
format is AVR or Beast RAW Feed

Thats it u should start receiving messages...

Thanks for the info. That did the trick.

Except as mentioned the box is on a remote location - that is, on a different network. The admin of that network had to opened 30334 to the outside and link to the box.

Happy as a piglet with two tails!
