  • SBS-1 - network - FR24FEED problems

    Recent user of RaspPI2, and previous install was feeding well for several months, but last night stopped feeding. I've assumed that the software required updating, so actioned this today. Everything went well till I tested the install, and keeps getting notified that F24FEED cannot access my SBS-1 box via the ip address and port. I've checked to make sure this info is ok, and even confirmed box was working by testing an old version of Basestation, which connect on the device and port perfectly.

    Can anyone please help pointing me in the direction of where my error is?

    Below is part of the error report;

    I'm seeing a number of things going here. What looks like multiple instances of the server (dump1090) already running.

    [raw][e]Could not bind socket to *:30334, errno=98
    tends to occur if its already opened by something else. RAW output shouldn't need to be enabled in the config.

    [basestation][e]Could not start server on port 20072
    2015-12-01 20:46:23 | [reader][e][0]Could not connect to 192.168.0.170
    Likewise, the errors are reported by time not grouped with attempts etc so looks like it is also trying to load a server there which may already be active.

    Silly question, but restarted Pi?

      Many thanks Oblivian.

      I've finally gone back to basics and reinstalled all software from scratch. Still getting an error code errno=98, but it does now feed to Flightradar again. I've also able to pick an internal feed so it is doing what I need it to do.

      Many thanks for your comments, as it has certainly helped me to understand what was happening. Just not able to identify what was capturing the ports.
