  • Easiest Method to Feed Data to FR24?

    Hi, Guys!

What's the easiest and cheapest method to feed data to FR24? I don't know the A, B, C of feeding data.

I mean Low Voltage (DC), Small amount of Internet Speed and Cheapest Device OR No device to buy.

    Please assist me.

    Regards,

Here is the 3 main ways to feed to FR24:

Raspberry Pi: A $35 (before tax + shipping) device that is a mini linux powered computer. (https://www.raspberrypi.org/products...-pi-2-model-b/ for the raspberry pi 2, also from amazon for $42 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00T2U7R7I?tag=fligh01-20) To feed to Flightradar24 with this device, you need a DVB-T stick which comes with a mini antenna that you can use or buy a different antenna. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...tag=fligh01-20 for DVB-T, $21). This setup is low power and simple to setup and leave running for very long periods of time.

An existing Linux or Windows PC: You can use the same DVB-T stick (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...tag=fligh01-20) and the software at feed.flightradar24.com to feed to Flightradar24. This setup will use more power as it is a full PC and you may not want to leave the PC running for a long period of time. Also very simple however.

FR24 Receiver: You can request special equipment from Flightradar24 that is made specifically to feed to Flightradar24. Includes everything needed for setup, including mounting brackets. More information at http://www.flightradar24.com/free-ads-b-equipment

Another option is to buy something like a radarcape (http://shop.jetvision.de, in german).
