    • I have just tested this setup with Airspy R2 and Airspy Mini and it seems to work fine. I had to connect it to the airspy_adsb decoder on the Beast port (127.0.0.1:30005) with the MLAT calculations enabled. This should add a very good coverage over Morocco. Now waiting the radar to show up on FR24's map.
However, the maximum distance seem to be limited to 349 nmi in the statistics view. Can you confirm that? Here's a screenie of what I get using VRS.

        Only 349nm? /s

Nice coverage. What is your radar callsign?

Your VRS stats are showing 455nm. That's incredible, if correct.

          • Hi I have some problem with my raspberry setup. It is my first try so no success story so far.

            Any idea where to look?

Ok found it. I have an unsupported dvb-t device. (when executing dump1090 standalone: No supported RTLSDR devices found.) Wrong chipset. The only thing is -> the message is not in the log :-(

Noone else seems to have or report the same issue. Is it not possibly to do with your distribution version?

                      • Look some posts back or another thread others have the same problem. I use an odroid system.

Instead of crying try to fix it. It's very easy.

Well RC.D appears to be what has the issue, and that is part of ubuntu. From what that reads if I understand right is it appears to be the updater built into the OS that has the issue with no permissions or similar to modify the files correctly. As it is showing files exist, or not removed beforehand.

So FR24feed is either still locked/running by something. Or the standard ubuntu build may not like the method the debain package is deployed.

Did you apply the fix as previous?
