Spotted an interesting feeder T-YBCG7 yesterday that I've not seen before. YBCG is Gold Coast airport and it seems to get planes down to ground level at Coolangatta without any problem but the interesting thing is that yesterday is was also getting them on the ground at Brisbane and today at Archerfield in Brisbane's west but not at Brisbane. Anybody know anything about this feeder? Old favourite T-YBBN1 at Brisbane also seems to have vanished again.

Had just over an hour outage (during the busiest time) due to a storm moving though. Back online again but took a bit to get everything working again. Really need to get the Raspberry Pi ordered so I can have a low powered system that will have some back-ups (power and internet).F-YSWG1 and T-YSWG2

T-YSWG2 will be offline, due to a ADSL2 fault. Back-up internet is at its bandwith limit (also running off my mobile). Hoping to have the broadband connection up and running ASAP but will work on getting an emergency internet connection established (may take 24 hours) if the down time looks to be continuing over the weekend.F-YSWG1 and T-YSWG2

Some very useful MLAT coverage has become available in southern Queensland. Range is quite remarkable given that there are only a couple of FR24 feeders west of the range. Nothing much in Brisbane but extends from about Ipswich west to nearly Miles, north to Noosa and south to about Casino. Provides coverage down to about 13000ft east of the range and down to about 16000ft to the west. There are plenty of Dash8s, ATRs and KingAirs to be seen as well as a few other types. Other people have also reported limited MLAT coverage around Perth and central Victoria but I've not been able to pick those up, nor anything around Sydney. Don't forget you have to switch MLAT on in Settings.

Now the fun begins expanding the database.. bags not!
But seriously, ya'll will need to start adding them to the new airacraft area, there will be a tonne of un-knowns appearing now.Posts not to be taken as official support representation - Just a helpful uploader who tinkers

Any you see with no registration, lookup the HEX via airframes.org, or if you have planeplotter with shared registration info (or a local database of them)
Then lookup CASA by reg and get the rest of the details like serial number etc if missing.
Queue a few up and add them to posts.. http://forum.flightradar24.com/threa...-FR24-database
You will see the perferred format
Hex
Reg
Manuf
Type
Serial
Owner
Private can go down as private, its only really large corporation fleets that get married up. Like ARFDSPosts not to be taken as official support representation - Just a helpful uploader who tinkers

Well finally ive had my much higher antenna pole installed. Up about 7m from it's previous location. It has removed a lot of black spots in my coverage. I can see already that F-YBNA1 holds coverage of aircraft much better than before and Im seeing M-Lat aircraft much further south from BN area
And then all of a sudden apart from a few aircraft, other feeders 100nm from me suddenly take all the traffic ? Faster internet connections ?Last edited by Lancair70; 2014-03-31, 07:56.
