Why does F-YBNA1, which is over 100nm south of Brisbane and Sunshine Coast, constantly loose tracking of aircraft south of YBNA, to receivers in YBBN and YBSU ?
F-YBNA1 picks up/feeds aircraft at lower altitudes in the area but constanty NOT higher altitude aircraft. Using planeplotter to see my receivers data, I CAN see all the aircraft, including up to above YBBN at 5000' BUT Almost never feeds that data over YBBN stations.
Just curious as to what causes this ? Almost like F-YBNA is set to a lower priority over the others. I even loose aircraft feeding at around 10,000' departing YBNA ? Quite obviously it's not on closest station gets priority.

That explains my man on the ground in Japan spotting the MRRT along with the BBJ. I saw that wee article as I was looking at recent MH updates about his engine issues. Ooops.
Just don't let the foilhats know there are specialised liquid vessels flying around on purposePosts not to be taken as official support representation - Just a helpful uploader who tinkers

I have a question i hope someone can help me with. At times i am receiving raw data from 16+ aircraft. Down to Coolangatta and up to Bundaberg, some up to 32000ft. FR24 feeder software shows 2 or 3 aircraft feeding. I figure its due to my cheap setup. But from raw data i have checked out hex codes and they seem to come back as De Havilland's. Where some of these aircraft are plotted to have taken off from there is no Airport. Is it possible that their receivers have been onsold to other parties and databases havent been updated?

DHC-8 do not have GPS location transmitting from their transponders. And using 4 receivers around the area they are able to plot the estimated location based on reception time. Therefore the flight number, route and destination are often missing as this is not reported in full from the AC transponder. However partial path can be plotted.Posts not to be taken as official support representation - Just a helpful uploader who tinkers
