  • Why not you install fr24 feed using .deb package? The .deb package does NOT have dump1090.

    Code:
    sudo wget http://feed.flightradar24.com/raspberry-pi/fr24feed_1.0.12-3_armhf.deb
    sudo dpkg -i fr24feed_1.0.12-3_armhf.deb
sudo fr24feed --reconfigure --fr24key=YOUR SHARING KEY
    sudo service fr24feed start
    service fr24feed status
    See detailed instructions: http://forum.flightradar24.com/threa...24-Data-Feeder

So, is the method I would use to add FR24 to my RPi2 box that is already running the PiAware image and feeding FA?
      Thanks, Tom

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. Instructions were concise and my RPi2 is now feeding both FA & FR24.

RPi2 has plenty of "juice" to handle PlaneFinder as well. I'm running all three on mine and CPU load is about .6. Info is here: http://forum.planefinder.net/threads...ta-thread.253/

              • Hi, could you compile a version for OpenWrt (Mips)? There's absolutely no point in leaving a PC on 24x7 and paying an expensive electricity bill at the end of the month when you can have the same job done by your router. Thanks.

                • Hi everyone,

Need help. I am older in RPI, but very new in Debian. I am trying to install a desktop type PC. Getting a error message like this. Whats the solution ?

-bash: ./fr24feed_arm-le_241s: cannot execute binary file
                  FR problem.png

                  Thanks,

You're trying to run an ARM architecture binary on an Intel or AMD processor. Look back at the first post in this thread and choose the x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) client and one of those should work for you.

                        • Hi guys
I have two x86 nas boxes (qnap & synology)
Wondered if anyone had managed to get this running on a nas? as i would then be able to feed 24/7 without having to have my pc on.

                            • Hi all,

The dropbox link for the RPi version is leading to an error page, stating :
                              Error (429)
This account's public links are generating too much traffic and have been temporarily disabled!
Can you guys reactivate it? Thank you.
