Online, no data, no idea what to do

I have been running a Raspberry Pi continuously with no changes for years. Today I learned my account has been downgraded to free, check stats 100% uptime but no data for at least a week.

I tried to connect using a browser and got the message "Connection has timed out". Tried using SSH and got "ssh: connect to host 192.168.1.xxx port 22: Connection timed out"

Restarted the Raspberry and there's no improvement. Checked all the connections no difference.

Anyone know what I am overlooking? I am not by any stretch an expert on Pi, the install was using the PI24 image loaded to the MicroSD card and no problems since.

If you've got another MicroSD card, you could load the image on that, as you did originally and swap the card.

    SD cards can fail.

No spare SD cards, the only one I had was one that went TU in 2019 when I last had a problem.

I tried reinstalling the image on the old card and it is still not working. While I can see it on my network Putty and the SSH command on my computer cannot find it and now it is not showing up at all on FR24.

I still don't know if it is the card or my Pi (Raspberry Pi 3 Model B) but I have ordered some more Micro SD cards.

        Was that to port 8754?

            Sudo fr24feed-status

It won't respond if something's stopping it from starting.

It was starting. It was connecting to FR24, the thread is titled " Online, no data" so what are you trying to say? The fact that it is now NOT connecting to FR24 is a new thing.

Do you have something to offer that is helpful?

                Woah

                Hostilities.

You said you tried to connect to the web page after reimagining. And :8754 times out?

It's created a new issue. If the web page times out, the service isn't working.

Before that, the service may have been. But not sending data (hence the message) and continually restarting.

There's nicer ways for turning down assistance.

Best of luck with Warpc0il then.

The hostilities were because you failed to read the initial post. I said I was unable to connect using either ssh or a browser. That didn't change.

The only change after reimaging is that now FR24 says it is offline and that is most likely due to my Pi not having my sharing key set up (and I have no way to modify the configuration as I can't get into it).

I have a new MicroSD card arriving today so I will set that up and see if that helps. If it doesn't then I will assume the Raspberry Pi has a fault.

Try a different image like Raspberry Pi OS: <https://github.com/wiedehopf/adsb-wiki/wiki/Raspbian-Lite:-ADS-B-receiver>
                    Or even simpler: https://adsb.im/

Pretty sure there is also instructions on how to enable ssh on the pi24 image somewhere on this forum.

I set up the Pi with a new MicroSD card (Sandisk Ultra 16 GB) and I am back in business.

A 3 pack on Amazon cost $16.65, so the last card went 6 years before failing so I have an 18 year supply?

                      Thanks all.
