    Cranked antenna bracket suggestions

I am looking to mount my antenna on the same bracket as my TV aerial. The arm of my TV aerial is cranked which is preventing me from easily doing this.

Has anyone managed to successful do this? I’m a bit stumped for ideas.

    This probably doesn't help.

Can you with a metal wire the antenna to the stock of the tv antenna?

I would mount a cranked or straight pile 90 degrees away from the tv antenna and then mount to that. Or get a t clamp to mount to current cranked pole. Then mount both aerials to opposite end of the me tee. Sorry not the answer you wanted.

        Hi.
Please can I offer the following advice? I've installed aerials commercially and privately for a number of years and I can see some issues with the install, when life gives you lemons....

        1) the coaxial cable is loose coming away from the pole of the antenna, this will rub as it moves in the wind and will wear through. In time it will allow water to track down the coaxial cable, possibly entering the equipment inside.

        2) The mounting pole is not the best and the antenna is showing signs of wear and degradation.

I can't make out the condition of the lashing kit to chimney, but if that is OK when you go up, swap the pole, antenna and coax out, the coax is the one that will bite you on the bum in this install.

When this is done, add your ADS-B antenna on top, keeping it as far away from the TV antenna as possible.

Here are some ideas from you from a local toolstation depot.

https://www.toolstation.com/tv-aeria...sh-pole/p39913 Cranked mast. it may well be a little short, There is a way around this though.

        https://www.toolstation.com/compact-...-aerial/p31278 Log periodic antenna

I can't see if your original antenna is wideband to allow reception of digital MUX, the antenna mentioned above antenna is wideband.

I'd advise keeping a little distance between the antennas, ideally, put the ADS-B antenna on top of the pole with the TV antenna below. A workaround to get you away from the cranked mast is to buy a cradle that gives more stand off from the chimney, allowing you to install a straight pole, one of 37/40mm diameter would be preferable.

Hope this is of help to you, please, if I can assist further or you need more ideas, please ask.
