Online - No Data for a Couple of Days Now... Trying to Troubleshoot

    Hey guys,

Been a feeder for many years now but from time to time, I realize my feeder goes to "Online - No Data" from time to time. Usually, I just physically restart my Raspberry-Pi (it's a Beaglebone Black) and eventually it stars feeding data again. Since yesterday morning, I've tried resetting it maybe 20-25 times and I keep getting the No Data no matter what. The donlge I use is the RadarBox ADS-B Flightstick (the green one). I remember many years ago when I had to migrate from Windows PC feeding to that and it took me a while to set it up. Believe to SSH in to the beaglebone you had to download an Oracle VM and then PuttySSH or something. Anyway, I just want to try and get in the dongle or the FR client to see why it's not feeding data. If the dongle died, then I guess I can just buy a new one and replace it but it still lights up and I believe it's working. Would like to see the raw data from the flighstick to make sure it is getting data and then troubleshoot why the FR client is not "listening" to the stick. I know there are some fantastic experts here so any help would be appreciated to get back feeding.

This is my feeder stats page (T-MRPV6):

The world’s most popular flight tracker. Track planes in real-time on our flight tracker map and get up-to-date flight status & airport information.

    Thanks again!
    Tomas.

What I would suggest you do is check the decoder you are using. FR24FEED you have is setup to read data from port 30002. If there is data, it will take from there and send it along but if there is nothing, you will see your status as "online-no data". You can also check the logs from the local web interface of fr24feed, http://IP-of-Pi:8754. Make sure to enter the IP of your PI/beaglebone, whatever you are using.

If you see pings, it means it is not getting any data. If there are any errors, you can post them here. But you need to make sure, whichever decoder you are using is working properly.
