Why do some feeders have multiple radars?

That depends on their usage.
I have multpile ones in order to get 360 degree coverage around the building I'm living in. I'm on the 3rd floor and the building is 9 blocks high. The antennas can't look through the building so I have to get more antennas in order to get the view from the other side.
Others have multiple feeder sites located at different locations but connected to 1 account.
