  • FR24Feed running but not time syncing

    Hi all
Tonight Im having this annoying problem with the feeder.

Apparently FR24 is running fine on my Orange Pi but it is not connected-

    systemctl status fr24feed

    * fr24feed.service - Flightradar24 Decoder & Feeder
Loaded: loaded (/etc/systemd/system/fr24feed.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)
Active: active (running) since Sun 2022-11-20 20:55:55 UTC; 1min 50s ago
    Process: 8103 ExecStartPre=/usr/lib/fr24/ (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
    Process: 8107 ExecStartPre=/usr/lib/fr24/ (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
    Process: 8113 ExecStartPre=/usr/lib/fr24/ (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
    Main PID: 8116 (fr24feed)
    Tasks: 16 (limit: 2072)
    Memory: 6.6M
    CGroup: /system.slice/fr24feed.service
    `-8116 /usr/bin/fr24feed

    Time syncing look fine too:

    systemctl status systemd-timesyncd.service

    * systemd-timesyncd.service - Network Time Synchronization
Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/systemd-timesyncd.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)
    Drop-In: /lib/systemd/system/systemd-timesyncd.service.d
Active: active (running) since Sun 2022-11-20 20:32:17 UTC; 26min ago
    Docs: man:systemd-timesyncd.service(8)
    Main PID: 305 (systemd-timesyn)
    Status: "Idle."
    Tasks: 2 (limit: 2072)
    Memory: 1.5M
    CGroup: /system.slice/systemd-timesyncd.service
    `-305 /lib/systemd/systemd-timesyncd

    But when I give:
    sudo fr24feed-status

    [ ok ] FR24 Feeder/Decoder Process: running.
    [ ok ] FR24 Stats Timestamp: 2022-11-20 20:58:48.
[FAIL] FR24 Link: unknown ... failed!
    [ ok ] Receiver: connected (8224 MSGS/0 SYNC).
[FAIL] FR24 MLAT: not running ... failed!

    Any suggestion ?

    Ok, forget it!!

I found what the problem was.
It happens when you edit some configuration files at night on the balcony ....

Unfortunately I mispelled the symbolic link that the file: /etc/resolv.conf was pointing at. .
Now I restarted the network and fr24feed looks happy (obviously)

    Sorry for bothering you guys
