Due to security considerations, Raspberry Pi is removing the default 'pi' account. I probably cannot post links but it is in the News part of the Raspberry Pi site. For headless setups, the Pi imager tool prompts for a user account and password. There is another way to create a user without the imager.
Guess it is a good thing I recently rebuilt my Pi and updated all the decoders, feeders and graph utilities. Guess it isn't too big of a deal.
