  • local stationary transponder

    Hi,
I set up a new ADS-B feeder about a week ago and I noticed two ICAO addresses continuously transmitting 24/7 once per second. No position, no altitude, no squawk code. The addresses match my country (4Bxxxx) but are not in the airframes.org database.
Their signal is very strong, I estimate it is less than a few 100m from my location.
I don't live near an airport. We do have occasional helicopter landings but there is none at the moment.

Any idea what that could be or to find out what it is? Raw transmission code is available.

Likely just test transponders to test secondary radar installations.

    Usually quite boring.

As an RF engineer I don't find it boring
Just curious, because it's a small village with no aviation related companies whatsoever.
