  • Feeding to Flightradar24 with an AirSpy Mini

    Hello!

I've been using a generic RTL SDR USB dongle to feed data to Flightradar24 for a few years, but it's almost broken and I need to replace it.

Is it possible to feed data to Flightradar24 with an AirSpy Mini dongle?

If yes, how? I've looked on this forum and on the internet, I have found tutorials for FlightAware, but not for Flightradar24!

I've been using a Raspberry Pi 3 with DietPi (a stripped Raspbian preserving microSD cards) until now, but I may switch to the Raspberry Pi 4 and Ubuntu or Manjaro (better 64-bit support as of now), if that's relevant.

    Thank you in advance! :-)

The tutorial or better my script for airspy/FA only requires dump1090-fa, not piaware (FA feed client)

You should have noticed you can just point FR24 to 30005 and make it get its data that way.

Be aware that you'll need a filtered LNA for good results with the airspy mini.
Pi3 will work, don't think there is an arm64 binary available, only armhf.
