  • Rasp Pi not feeding... (yet another newbie)

    Hi,

I'm using a jetvision DVT-B dongle, Rasp pi.

Seemed to install OK but nothing has been tracked in 12 hours - which given that we sit more or less under the Heathrow to USA flightpath is surprising!

    Advice will be appreciated.

    Mark

      Hi Mark,

      Give following 2 command:

      Code:

      AFTER 5 minutes:
      Code:

I get following response, what do you get?
      Code:

Your original (now unblocked) post has a space and -status. Which re runs a 2nd feeder.

As above, no space (or -) on the command. And don't forget SUDO for things.

So it is feeding, but there's nothing to feed as the receiver isn't working. Jetvision DVB-T T820T2 & SDR USB 2.0

Tested and failed. Is it likely to be the brand new Jetvision or the old 2011 Raspberry Pi?

                  1) Unplug, then replug the dongle.
                  2) If you are usig a USB extender cable between dongle and Pi, remove it and plug the dongle directly into Pi, or try another USB cable.

If above does not solve the problem, try another better/bigger 5V DC power supply adapter.

I've tried several different power adaptors, plus different cables. The power light is lit on the dongle.

The light doesn't mean much. The components need a good source to stay alive.

                        Of which is about 2Amp

Then by it working for a while and now not. And all the messages about no valid tuner found. The only conclusion is it's been zapped/died.
