That's the way it is when a enthusiast driven business more and more moves to become a larger corporation with other goals/targets. They forget about how they once started and who helped out in doing so, and still help for that matter, we all do here right. But i've given up on it, it's just the way it is, i enjoy the business subscription i get but that's about it. i have other use of my data apart from this.

I have noticed this also, i have watched an aircraft to over 220 Nm but FR24 stats page only shows 120Nm.

The stats have never worked properly on the site, it's just not a priority for FR24, numerous discussions about this in the forum.

Just as an example i haven't had many days below 340-345nm maximum range the past year in my private stats page but still i never get higher than 325nm in the stats ranking list. I believe for some reason they have put 325 as maximum what you are allowed to have there.. the reason is somewhat secret i guess. Sad because i know many high altidude recievers around the world that exeeds 325..

I have noticed that my stats show a drop in max range these last few weeks. The last 45 day average is 133 days. For the same period last year it is 148 days.

I think this is a significant drop. If it is, is it caused by a change to the algorithm used by FR24 or by a degradation of my antenna?

The Max Range reported by FR24 is neither a 30 day average nor the maximum in a 30 day period.

This is obvious by looking at the day-to-day results. My last 12 are:
    127, 127, 112, 117, 132, 144, 135, 132, 128, 122, 119, 132.

It would be nice to even feature in the list. Seems I am lost! Still online though 24/7 and feed apparent on targets...

Because of this ambiguity, I very rarely check my FR24 stats. I have installed monitoring software right on my Pi which shows me performance of my system.

The trouble is that these stats have brought out a competitive side of my nature that I didn't think I had!
Not that I'll ever compete with the guy with 22 receivers, but I get a bit of a buzz out of now being in the UK top 30!!

I too have been logging my stats for 3 months now and see the same as ger241 reported back in March. My 30 day average maximum range is currently 295nm but the detailed stats data has been stuck on 265nm for a while. As the maximum range inevitably changes daily with weather conditions I would expect the 30 day average to varying all the time.
As it's been 2 months since you reported that stats are looking into this problem I wondered if there has been any progress yet.

    Best Regards

Not just one day. My last few stats updates have had the upload hours as -23, +13, -23, +18 and -20. My Data Sharing graphs show some decreased activity overnight due to the Easter long weekend but are generally consistent with past performance. Maybe its a changeover in daylight savings time causing a mess with the calculations ?

I'll contact FR24 and will post their response.

Any changes made need to be tested for a month to see if they makes sense. But the devs are looking into it, if that's what you are asking
